Innotribe Startup Challenge 2017 in Russia: outcome

The winning companies received a money reward and an opportunity to present their FinTech solutions to the world financial community at the Sibos International Conference.


St. Petersburg, 17 July 2017 - during their first demonstration in the region, the Innotribe Startup Challenge participants picked three of the most promising Russian FinTech companies. The event was held in St. Petersburg, on Friday, 14 July, during the International Finance Congress (IFC). The Russian largest international financial forum, of which the Bank of Russia is the general partner.
Three winners located in Moscow:

Oz Forensics helps financial institutions to reduce the risks and costs of digital fraud by automating KYC processes using images, video, and biometric analysis.

SCORISTA provides risk management assistance to non-bank credit organizations.

Talkbank allows to carry out banking operations through messengers.

The winning companies received a money reward of $10 000 and were invited to participate in the Sibos annual global financial Conference, which will be held from 16 to 19 October in Toronto. At the event, the winning companies will come on stage, presenting Russian innovations with experts in the field of FinTech, banks and financial institutions from around the world.

The Russian event was the second and final regional event, which took place in 2017. The Innotribe team would like to take this opportunity to thank ROSSWIFT (the Russian National SWIFT Users Association), in particular the ROSSWIFT Working Group on Innotribe: Bank of Russia, National settlement depositary, Sberbank and Alfa-Bank, which helped to organize the first Startup challenge in the region.
