RUSSIAN TECHNICAL CONSULTATION HUB (RTCH)

In accordance with international practice, Russia has established Working Group on technical aspects of SWIFT usage (Russian Technical Consultation Hub – RTCH).

Russian Technical Consultation Hub of SWIFT usage in Russian Federation (RTCH) was established in 2015 and is an association of Russian financial market members. It was organized in order to identify, discuss and address issues related to the technical aspects of SWIFT usage in Russian Federation.

The main purpose of Russian Technical Consultation Hub is to interact with SWIFT experts on application, adaptation, support and development of technological solutions and SWIFT services.

Currently, RTCH includes representatives of the largest SWIFT users in Russian Federation: Bank of Russia, Sberbank, Gazprombank, VTB Bank, Alfa Bank,  Bank Otkrytie and others.

Sergey Putyatinskiy, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Credit bank of Moscow, is the Chairman of Russian Technical Consultation Hub.

The main objectives of the Working Group:

• Consolidation of the participant’s requests and bring them to notice of SWIFT;
• Developing recommendations for the participants;
• Organization of interaction between financial market participants within the framework of the main objectives of the Working Group;
• Bringing to the notice of SWIFT Russian users information about made decisions and recommendations received by SWIFT.
